PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The TOKENS: Official Website is a centralized digital platform designed to bring the band's full identity and offerings into one cohesive space. As an alternative rock band based in Jersey City, TOKENS has been steadily building their presence through Instagram and local performances. However, with growing fan engagement and an expanding catalog of content and merchandise, the need for a dedicated online home has become essential. This website serves as a digital presence and a curated fan experience that unifies the band's music, story, merch, and community into a seamless ecosystem. By giving fans direct access to TOKENS’ world, the site enhances engagement, fosters loyalty, and helps the band grow organically both locally and beyond.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Primary Audience - Young adults (ages 18–35) in the Jersey City area who are deeply connected to indie and alternative rock scenes.

Secondary Audience - Out of town listeners, music discovery enthusiasts, and those who support emerging and independent artists.

DESIGN OBJECTIVES:
Consolidated Band Experience - Create a unified destination for everything TOKENS such as music, merchandise, updates, and direct fan interaction while eliminating the need for fans to navigate across multiple platforms.

Brand Integration - The site features alternating black and white backgrounds, with pops of TOKENS’ official branding colors used throughout for emphasis and consistency. This contrast not only elevates the visual identity but reinforces the band’s bold, alternative aesthetic.

KEY SITE FEATURES:
Homepage - A dynamic calendar-like feed of updates including new song releases, show announcements, and featured social media content. Acts as a live snapshot of what’s current in the TOKENS universe.

Merchandise Page - Includes vinyls, shirts, posters, and exclusive box sets bundled at accessible price points. Features a full e-commerce flow with product detail pages, cart, checkout, and size guides for apparel. Designed to create a unique shopping experience unlike third-party stores, reinforcing TOKENS’ independent ethos.

About Section - A narrative driven space featuring bios and images of each band member. Highlights individual experiences and collective journey, fostering deeper fan connection.

Community Hub - A fan centered platform mimicking an Instagram style feed, where both the band and fans can post, comment, and interact. Encourages a sense of belonging and active participation.

Exclusive Content & Streaming Membership - A section dedicated to music access across streaming platforms, with embedded previews and exclusive behind the scenes footage, demos, and early releases available to site members.

User Account System - Includes member login, sign up, and password recovery pages, offering fans access to personalized features like saved carts, exclusive content, and community engagement tools.

Thank You Page - A post purchase thank you page that acknowledges fan support and provides follow up content, recommendations, and shareable links to keep the momentum going.
